EDA IS ORANGE PART 2
Luz, Gus, and Hunter are the only ones who made it through the portal, and things are hard. Trying to get back to the demon realm is now nearly impossible.
Luz the reason they're stuck here, why Belos found The Collector. As if that guilt isn't bad enough, she's also carrying a secret for Eda. A grim, disgusting secret that makes her want to disappear. But she made a promise, she knows the consequences if she speaks out, so she fills the void in whatever ways she can. Horrible ways. Hunter doesn't seem to be doing well, still reeling from discovering his whole life is a lie. The two bond over the secrets they're keeping from everyone else, and with so much time and limited people to talk to, they end up much closer than one might think.
(The end of S2 through Thanks to Them, but an au where Eda had been grooming Luz which left her traumatized. Amity and Willow didn't go through the portal, leading to different outcomes in relationships and plot)

"Willow and Gu-" she started again.
Hunter dropped to his knees.
"Please, please don't hurt them Ma'am. I can take it, I'll be quiet. I swear it won't happen again, I-"

"Do you love me?" Giyuu murmured, posture taught with anguish, "Or is this just a joke to you?" He pulled at the collar of Kokushibo's kimono, pulling his face down to meet his. Kokushibo peered into Giyuu's eyes, his heart stuttering in his chest.
Even in pain Giyuu looked like heaven to Kokushibo.
"Is this just your sick way of playing with your food?" Giyuu screamed, tears streaming down his his flushed cheeks. Kokushibo brushed away the crystalline tears, holding the man's cheek gently.
"No," he intoned, his voice a soft thing, tremulous and quivering with fear, "You are everything to me."

Cedric was dead. Voldemort was back.
And apparently, she was Harry Potter now.
Which was, frankly, the worst possible timing. Too late to stop Voldemort from resurrecting himself, too early to skip ahead to the part where the final battle was over and the credits rolled. Instead, she was stuck in the middle of the world’s most stressful waiting room: dementors, horcrux hunts, and prophecy nonsense looming over the horizon.
On the bright side, it was summer, so nobody could call her out for acting weird.
