Summary
One day, young Takashi Shirogane finds a mysterious bundle drifting down the river and decides to bring it home. Inside is a huge, wondrous, magical peach - and a sharp-toothed baby boy! Takashi's grandparents name the boy 'Momotarou', the Peach Son, though the boy calls himself 'Keith'. Adopted into the Shirogane family, this strange and inhuman child becomes Takashi's special responsibility, and with time, his closest friend.
But the world is a dangerous place, and there is a much bigger destiny in store for Momotarou. Disaster and duty will take the boys over the sea to the dreaded Onigashima, the island kingdom of the demon ogres. True companions will be found along the way, and so will gods, monsters, grief, triumph, and the truth about where Momotarou - Keith - came from.
For the 2023 Once Upon a Sheith Fairy Tale Bang and inspired by the Japanese folktale Momotarou (The Peach Son).

Summary
Steve can’t get over the fact that it can be so damn hard for Bucky to let anyone be kind to him, still, even after all this time. Sometimes Bucky can’t help but feel like he's talking dangerously out of turn, can't always break past the clenching in his throat that kept him habitually silent, the silence that so often kept more pain at bay.
Some days, he still expects the blow. It breaks Steve’s heart to see him flinch.

When lowly acolyte Hinata is tasked with bringing his temple's monthly tax payment to the Centurion's Villa, he hardly expects to have an encounter with Kageyama, the lavishly wealthy landowner and decorated army general himself. But Kageyama turns out to be far more interested in Hinata than the money, believing him to be a gift sent from the gods themselves. Before Hinata realizes what's happening, he finds himself agreeing to stay at the villa, where Kageyama can spoil him to his heart's content.
To Hinata's surprise, he soon finds himself growing attached to the brutally blunt yet strangely sweet Kageyama; but he is worried he won't be able to hold the attention of a man who has everything, even as Kageyama starts to become everything to him.
