Pensive silence, Ronan cocked his head. Wordless, while Adam rocked back and forth. Drummed fingers.
“Might as well.” Ronan said, eyes bright and catching constellations, rose peaked cheeks from brisk winds, sniffling still, eyes creased and underlined in echoes of painted twilight.

St. Agnes was, suddenly, too big. Or Adam too small. Either way he could not find an arena in which he reasonably slot.
There wasn’t time for a meltdown. His list too full, Ronan too here. He'd been planning to meet with Blue after her shift. Had to contact Gansey, let him know he was available next Saturday. Needed to wash his gym uniform. Needed to find somewhere to wash his gym uniform. Needed someone to touch for longer than it took for nurses to draw labs he didn’t need for a bill he hadn't been able to pay. For Blue to evade holding his hand. Needed a blanket, thicker jacket, a new set of socks, new slacks to compensate last summer's growth spurt he needed…
Adam moves into St. Agnes. Ronan, being Ronan, was as helpful as he'd expect.

Blue blinks. "Gansey. Can you repeat all of that without being so vague?"
Gansey stutters out a little laugh. Blue closes her eyes at the rough, frantic sound of it. "I told Adam I wouldn't mind kissing him. If it helps your relationship. And he agreed."
"How noble of you," Blue says, at a loss.
"Well – I suppose," Gansey replies. They both pause. Then, "I can pick you up now, if you want."
Blue throws herself to her feet. "Be quick."
