It’s a gaze that doesn’t suit him. He’s cold and intrinsic, beautiful and dangerous.
Her hand idles on Mr. Mew’s tail, giving it a light squeeze. “I make my own dreams a reality.”
Minamimoto laughs. A hearty one, genuine. “Your dreams are an integral of imagination. Is that concept really too much of a complex quantity for your comprehension, you imperfect radian?”
Shiki bristles, her hand instinctively holding the soft tail tighter. “I am not some byproduct of the Game!”
But when he laughs again, in that insouciant manner she believes he alone carries, she finds herself faltering.

Questionable physics jokes, undeniable chemistry.
On the eve of Progress Day, sophomore Viktor stays up late in the library, working on a project. He is not very good at communicating with other students, but he excels in mechanics. However, today, even this does not help him: Viktor did not account for the difference in air density between his native Zaun and Piltover in his calculations. As it's too late to go home before the bridge between the cities closes, he decides to take a break and stumbles upon an unfinished project left in the library by someone else.
The rest is history.
I added a Mature rating just because of chapters 23 and 37, it is not graphic, but feel free to skip it if it is not your thing!

Опаздывая домой до закрытия моста между городами, он решает пойти развеяться, но натыкается на оставленный в библиотеке кем-то другим незаконченный проект.
