Summary
Rice Village said the sign, in faded, peeling letters. Behind the group of villagers was a fence of bamboo and further on, scattered minka—old, rural-style houses with thatched, gabled roofs. Front and centre was Naruto, wearing his trademark orange and a huge grin. Still boyish and round, he couldn't have been more than eighteen.
A rice farmer. Naruto was a rice farmer.
(Or, the AU where Sasuke returns after eight years away to discover that Konoha has changed, Naruto is a surprisingly adept rice farmer, and he have missed him a lot more than he thought.)

Summary
It seemed strange to Boruto, the way Sasuke-san seemed to almost smile around his dad. He’d assumed that would be the case with Sakura-san, too, but now it only made his suspicions grow.
“Sarada, have you ever wondered if uh…sensei—I mean—your dad is—”
It suddenly occurred to Boruto that Sarada might not like what he was going to say. “Uh—never mind.”
Needless to say, it was too late.
“What? What about papa?”
"It's—nothing—"
Sarada turned to direct her full gaze on him.
Boruto quailed. “Um…so—this—this is just a theory, okay? I could be totally wrong, okay?”
“Uhuh.”
“Um…so…have you…ever noticed…how…uh…that—” Boruto licked his lips.
Sarada twitched. “Just spit it out already.”
“O-Okay!” he squeaked. “So, um, d-do you think…your dad might be…uh…gayformydad?”

Sasuke is in an unhappy marriage of obligation and unspoken expectations(There’s that /one/ battle scene i lie awake thinking about)
Both Naruto and Hinata, and Sasuke and Sakura separate. It’s not pretty.

Summary
This isn’t something they had done before.
Naruto’s neck feels unbearably warm against Sasuke’s cheek as he’s pulled forcibly into an embrace, his irritated protests going largely ignored. It’s almost not really a hug so much as it is a cling, Naruto’s heels hitting Sasuke’s lower back, arm wrapping around Sasuke’s shoulders tightly. The shock of Naruto scrambling over onto his hospital bed isn’t enough to make the tears stop slipping down his cheeks, and he doesn’t have enough energy to truly resist – not that he truly wants to.

Summary
If some doomsayer were to foresee Naruto Uzumaki’s downfall at the hands of ink and parchment, he would have rolled his eyes. Maybe cuffed Sai around the back of the head, for good measure.
The reality is far more cruel, and far more mundane.
Over four years, there are a series of letters. They are sent by the only person capable of bringing him to his knees. The words alone are enough to ruin him.
Now, if you were to tell him that; he would have believed you.
