For Claude, it was as if he was seeing Lorenz for the first time. So kind and tender, nothing like the man who openly struggled with him for the Alliance's leadership. The man in front of him was different, softer, warm and welcoming.
He liked what he saw in his partner's eyes.

Claude is labeled as a traitor by the Alliance's nobles, who have condemned him to an unjust execution, Lorenz will abandon his duties to save his friend and possibly uncover more about himself and his feelings in the process.

I made it a series so people can read "If I never knew you" as a stand alone fic, given how the open ending could lead to a different interpretation to all the readers. So, if you like how it ended you can stop there (no problem).
But if you wish for more Claurenz inspired by the movie Pocahontas, I highly advice to continue with the other one.
