Summary
Turtle liked the emptiness and vastness of the ocean. Out there, even though he was alone, he could be himself. Those delicate pieces of his existence—the fears that rattled his bones and wept like waterfalls—became nothing more than circumstantial quirks. His character came from the background and miraculously stumbled into the main role. Turtle, against all odds, felt free. As if he could be more than what he was, without having to become something bigger than who he was.
(or: turtle didn’t recognize dragons the way he should, let alone himself.)

Summary
Turtle snuck into the Royal Hatchery one night. He settled in amongst the seaweed nests, in what seemed like a respectful distance away from Queen Coral’s growing—still unhatched—daughters, and watched the little eggs. The silhouettes of his sisters. He stayed there, blending in amongst the dark waters, eyes trained on the clusters of eggs. There were only four in this, and dozens of other sons to be had—but Turtle knew they were safe. They would hatch without his intervention. This mission of his was for the future princesses, and now, with his talons and snout buried in the wet sand, eyes facing the four sisters he might meet if this just went well—the prince knew what he needed to do.
(or: turtle is just a prince, and princes are replaceable, but animus dragons aren’t.)

Midoriya Inko opens the door of her son’s room –
- and promptly begins shrieking ear-splittingly. “I-Izukkun?! What the hell are you doing with that gun?! WHY DO YOU HAVE A GUN?!”
The green haired boy gives her an encouraging thumbs-up gesture. “Mom!” Izuku says, “Isn’t the doctor who’s in your debt also the one who diagnosed me as quirkless?”
His mother steadies herself on the doorframe. Her face is pale and grows only whiter with the question. “W-Why do you want the doctor gone?” she stutters breathlessly.

Summary
About the size of a turkey, the velociraptors were basically feathery coyotes with sickle claws. The little buggers were escape artists too, and managed to escape their enclosure at least once every week. Once free they would usually venture into the guest areas and raid the garbage cans, beg tourists for food, and try and lure the pigeons into a false sense of security by fluffing their feathers and pretending to peck at the ground.
The Other Velociraptors on the other hand, were six foot tall, super intelligent, scaly freaks of nature that only existed because the science department was a bunch of nerds. Surprisingly however they were much better behaved than their smaller, more natural counterparts. Too bad the chief of security was an asshole, and their trainer had a habit of getting drunk and teaching them things they really shouldn't know.

His doctors had been very clear about the dangers of repeated head trauma. But really, what did they know? There wasn’t a single doctor who told him to expect time travel as a symptom and that was pretty clearly his biggest one.
