All Orion wanted since they first met, was for Megatronus to be safe. When the title of Prime was presented to him by the Council, he saw the opportunity to make it a reality.
A long time has passed since then. Optimus wonders if Megatron understands what Optimus did, and does to this day, is only in his best interest. If in trying to protect the one he treasures most, he lost sight of who exactly he assumed needed such protection.(written for MegOp Week 2024 - Sacred)

Summary
Trypticon prison was not supposed to remain without power for more than a week. Megatron assured him that in case of actual complications, the minicons would get it running in no time. Before he was led back to Kaon by Sentinel and the guards, Megatron promised him that everything will be okay, that he will let Optimus know that he's okay.
Optimus sat and stared at the closed, lightning scorched door.
