Summary
This wasn't how Pure Vanilla Cookie had intended his confrontation to go with the Beast of Deceit. He hadn't intended to become so emotionally intertwined with Shadow Milk Cookie. More over, he certainly hadn't planned to accidently press the two halves of the Soul Jams together. What a mess his short sightedness had created this time.
or, Pure Vanilla Cookie gets shoved back in time by billions of years. Back before the Beasts had defected and corrupted, back before the modern era. He has a rare chance now, one he cannot afford to falter and lose. Sure he had out maneuvered the Master of Deceit, but how can he possibly hope to win against the embodiment of all Knowledge?

What if imprisonment didn't make the Beast of Deceit Vengeful?
What if it made him desire a second chance at being the Virtue of Knowledge?🐇
Shadow Milk Cookie escapes the Silver Tree with hopes of receiving forgiveness for his time as a Beast so he may return to his position as a virtue. However, he has not realized just how long he has been imprisoned for. Before he has any chance of being a virtue once again, he must relearn the ways of the world, including how to speak the common language.
The silver tongue of the Master of Deceit is useless when there's nobody it can be spoken to with, though there's one especially compassionate ancient willing to meet him halfway.
I wonder what could ensue from this..

A fraction of light trails colours that breathe in life from first wake till eternal slumber. Shifting pallets changes the trajectory of fate, even with just a mere splash. Countless tales, never told of what could be and what was not.
One of a Verdant Priest, lost in darkness’ thrall, toiling for beauty to blind even the moonlight itself. Wreching the king of faeries from his daydream, into the wake of a living nightmare.
A Vermillion Jester, twisted and cruel. Freed of his shackles, he weaved a plan most foul, to burn the sun itself. Corrupting a king once kind with truths beyond mortal ken into a lord that reigned above even the demons themselves.
And of a Violet Magician, discontent with the life he had been granted. Entrapped by a park of dreams, he wishes away the days when life was just that much simpler. And mayhaps, as luck would have it, a co-worker in the warm visage of teddy bears might be the one to bring it to him.

Summary
Another little droplet lands on his face, this time on his eyelid, prompting his closed eyes to flutter hesitantly. Finally, he opens his eyes and gives his attacker a curious look. They're.. crying?
Liquid sadness drips down his cheeks, but he still hasn't wiped it off, still hasn't shoved this cookie away from himself. The fount just hangs there, limply, like a puppet with cut strings. Cold resolve and heartbreaking sadness push and pull at the assassin's face like a particularly harsh riptide.
"You deserve this," the cookie grits out angrily, yet despite the harsh glare sent his way, the fount feels as if this cookie is trying to convince himself more than he's trying to convince his victim. "So why..." The assassin breathes, his voice cracking. "Why can't I do this?"OR
Displaced in the timeline, Fortune Teller Cookie immediately tries to cut out the beast of deceit at his roots, before the virtue has the chance to corrupt, and cause so much suffering. Fortune Teller quickly finds that he cannot take an innocent life. When the moment comes, there is no bloodshed, only tears.

Summary
When Pure Vanilla comes back after the Dark Flour War, he doesn’t wind up on the outskirts of the Vanilla Kingdom with friends to help him as he regains his memories. Instead, he winds up in Beast Yeast, spending his days reading travelers’ fortunes and healing those who overestimated themselves.
Alone in a foreign continent, he winds up in the clutches of Shadow Milk, who has much more sinister plans for an amnesiac Ancient.

Summary
He takes a few deep breaths and stares at the… Fount. That is the Fount of Knowledge sitting there, in a plush seat next to the bed he’d been strapped to, face just as placid as he’d always thought to make it appear in the ancient days when it was him in those robes. He is almost radiant in this light, the sunbeams that stream through the window catching the curling cloud-like waves of his hair in the perfect way to bring out its stars.
There was a time when he would spend hours studying the position of them, mapping constellations in his mirror. The lights have long since been snuffed out but the memory stayed, it plays itself again right before his eyes.
It’s like looking through a window right to his past.
What the hell.

Or, Shadow Milk Cookie wakes to find himself a long way from home, and his best shot at getting back is playing nice with one of the cookies he despises the most. Himself.
