Summary
Tomioka Giyuu was a legend in the Demon Slayer core; passed final selection at the age of 13 as the former water pillar's Tsuguko and clawed his way up the rankings to Hashira by the time his 14th year rolled around.
Iguro had met him a few times as he climbed the ranks himself, and each encounter was more disappointing then the last. Until they were both 19 and Hashira, and Ubuyashiki-sama pulled just the two of them into a meeting. Their Mission? Kill the demon that was terrorizing Tomioka's hometown. Avenge Tomioka Tsutako and all the other people that this demon had killed.
Obanai Iguro will never see the Water Hashira the same way again.

Or if they do, it's usually for a negative reason. But as the Hashira emphasize and become more serious in being a group of friends, rather than comrades, the path to take this route may open the shadowy and painful past of one of their most misunderstood Hashira. One that may bring guilt, shock, annoyance, anger, or all at once to the Pillars. And so, why is Giyu so closed off? So mysterious? Why are most of his records erased? There's a lot of digging that needs to be done.
