Young embalmer, Aesop Carl was invited to play a game at a mysterious manor, tempted by the promise of answers regarding the strange happenings of his father-figure, Jerry Carl, and to carry out his unfinished work.
Nothing was as it seemed there.
Closer to the living than he had ever been before, Aesop struggled to navigate his way through the unfamiliar walls of the manor where deep, dark secrets lay. The manor’s peculiar residents hid more than a few skeletons in the closet, and Aesop soon discovered the proposed ‘game’ wasn’t exactly his idea of fun.
None of the lessons Jerry taught Aesop could prepare him for what was to come.

Before Desmond could say anything else, the elder was gone, disappearing into the recesses of his own mind. But Desmond honestly couldn't tell if Achilles had been talking to Connor...

The mission to rescue Desmond from Abstergo in ACII fails, and he is instead made a prisoner and slowly loses his mind to the Bleeding Effect, only to be saved by some unlikely heroes.
