Summary
People in their neighbourhood liked to commend him on the life he had, on how easy he made everything look, but they were only seeing what was tossed out there to be seen.
The truth was, Rick’s life was a fucking joke, and he was getting good at pretending, at hiding that he was dying inside despite the smiles he put on for the people he was forced to associate with because it was expected of him.
And then she was there, and he finally realised what had been missing the entire time.
His soul.

Summary
There are those who believe the only game that matters is the one of thrones, but what use have old gods for seats of melted blade? They play a game far older than one of silly thrones and ambitious houses; they play the game of life and death, they play the game of fate.
Fate, for them, is finding the threads of life they know will grow and fight. It is tiresome work, slow work, one that leaves them deaf to the prayers of those seeking wisdom and strength of mind and spirit and blade. Some think them dead, others have replaced them, but some still linger in their woods, seeking solitude and the calm to be found beneath their watchful gazes. Those are the few the old gods watch for, search for; those are the strings they pull and bind and weave anew.
Sometimes their threads are frayed, pulled apart by those who have forgotten them. Other times their bonds are guarded, smothered by too much caution and put to a path of blood and pain. It is a game of balance, their game of fates, but it is one they know they must get right for Winter Is Coming, and even the old gods cannot escape it.
But there is hope, they know, for when the snows fall and the white winds blow, the lone wolf dies but the pack survives.

"Don't Resurrect Yourself. Seriously, Don't." A Cautionary Tale By Peter Hale by MilesQuaritch
Fandom Teen Wolf (TV)
14 Oct 2016
Summary
Alone, and frankly quite sick of it, Peter decides to rent out the spare room in his apartment.
As with everything else in his life, it doesn't go well. That is to say it goes so badly he's left wondering why he didn't just stay dead and buried under the floorboards of his family home.
At least he could have haunted Derek that way.
But maybe it's not so bad. Maybe along the way he'll find something he didn't know he needed.
Maybe living in Hell isn't so bad when you've got company...even if it is the company of a teen wolf that swears too much and a crazy witch that keeps stealing his shit.

Summary
Dropped into a pre-Outbreak world, Harry, Sirius, and Remus follow the advice of a thankful Seer and prepare for the worst. Six years later, the dead begin to walk and the Walsh/Grimes group forms. Only, instead of finding only a hand on the roof of a department store, Daryl and the rest find nothing at all, leading to the question: How did Merle escape?
Loosely follows the first couple seasons of the Walking Dead before the major canon-divergence. Warnings for Slash and canonical violence and rape references, the Mpreg is off-screen until later in the story.
