“Hannibal, what do you think you’re doing?” Will asks, turning his head to glance at the man from the corner of his eye.
“Enjoying your company,” Hannibal says simply before kissing Will’s neck again. His lips lingering this time before dragging up to press another kiss below his ear.
This time rather than tensing Will sighs before turning his Hannibal’s grasp. His own arms come up to wrap around Hannibal’s neck loosely. “All you do these days is enjoy my company. And yourself in general.”
“I am rather hedonistic,” Hannibal concedes with a small smile.

"You’ll forgive me if I find that hard to believe," Newt says rather bluntly, looking Gellert definitely in the eye. The alcohol in his system making him far less timid in the moment.
"Now, Newt. Don't be rude," Char says, barely above a whisper into his ear. Arm slipping lower to settle around his waist. The action makes Newt blush scarlet and stutter out a hushed apology to his friend.
Gellert chuckles.

Fingers rake through his sweat-drenched curls, nails scratching at his scalp in a way that both feels amazing and totally foreign. He lets another whine out and the weight moves from him, followed by gentle hands soothing down his sweat-soaked back. He realizes they’re Hannibal’s as he inhales through his nose and takes in the unmistakable scent of the alpha.
“Will?” Hannibal asks from beside him, accent thick and tone deeper than usual where sleep still clings to him. “Can you tell me what you need?” he adds as he continues to run his hands up and down Will’s back to try and soothe him a little. He feels like he’s burning alive. Soaked in sweat and slick. Body giving off waver after wave of pheromones that have the alpha’s mouth-watering.

WIll is sitting on the edge of the porch, his bare feet on the cold ground, and his arms wrapped around himself. He’s clearly still overheated but holds himself and shivers slightly as if freezing from the late winter chill that hangs in the mid-morning air.
Tilting his head, Hannibal studies him a moment before stepping off the porch and holding out a hand in offering to Will. “We should go back inside, Will. It’s far too cold to be out here for long.”
Will looks at Hannibal’s hand a moment, debating if he wants to try and argue. He feels like he’s on fire. The winter air is helping to cool him off and clear the fog that threatens to overtake his mind, but it’s also making his overly sensitive skin hurt a little. And he knows that probably isn’t a good thing.
Reluctantly, Will takes Hannibal’s hand.

After what feels like an eternity of staring at the lifeless body of his attacker, Will forces himself to move. His mind is spinning. He knows he needs to call and report what’s happened. Go to the ER and get his arm looked at. His mind is ticking off everything he should do, but instead, he finds himself grabbing the knife from where it protrudes from the center of the man's abdomen. It’s almost hypnotic the way the red seeps through the once white fabric to slip down the sides of the body and begin to pool beneath him.
Will looks at his arm, watching the way his own blood run down his skin to drip from his fingertips. He needs to stop the bleeding. He needs to focus.

The notes of wild clover blossoms that have thankfully always been faint are growing stronger. Will has always had a mild scent for an omega, but when he’s about to go into heat the sweetness in it gets much stronger. “I need to ask you something important, and I need to know you are going to really listen to what I am saying to you because if you don’t I swear I will kill you.”

Nodding, Hannibal raises his glass and swirls the red wine inside it a bit as he thinks on the many papers he’s read, as well as a few he himself has written. “I am quite familiar with them, actually. I myself identify as pansexual,” he confesses, hoping that bit of information will make whatever it is Will is leading up to telling him a bit easier to share.
Instead, it stuns Will for a moment.
