Summary
In a snap judgement, Midoriya Inko uses her quirk to save a life during surgery. She's promptly fired. The reason? Unlicensed, illegal quirk usage, cause enough to revoke her medical license and with it, her salary. At the age of ten, her son Izuku's life is flipped on its head. They move to cheap apartment in a more run-down area, sell their things, and work long hours to make ends meet.
The world is rotten, and he begins to see the cracks. Unfair rules, chains written in ink that shackle everyone unfairly. Villains running rampant, unabated by corrupt heroes. His heroic dreams hold firm - he and his mom both promised they would always do the right thing.
When Izuku is fifteen, he leaves work one night to see a woman being suffocated by a villain made of sludge, surrounded by explosions. Heroes watch uselessly and the crowd stands by, so he rushes in to save her. This woman, Curious, turns out to be a head lieutenant of the Meta Liberation Army, and in Izuku's heart she sees a roaring flame.
What follows is a chain of events in which Izuku finds a new purpose beyond being a hero... Liberation.

Summary

Aizawa Shouta sighed, pinching the bridge of his nose as his brow furrowed in frustration. Jelly packet freshly slurped, disgusting instant coffee long since drunk, eyedrops applied and crust cleared away, there was no more putting it off. The problem children were sitting quietly as they waited for the bell to sound. Five seconds more… Nedzu really owed him another raise. He sighed, cracking his joints as the garish yellow sleeping bag slipped off his body and he unfurled to face Hero Class 1.

“Class.” he grumbled, as forty heads swiveled towards him. “Good Morning, Aizawa-sensei!”
