Not with the knowledge collected over the past months, since Ostagar, since meeting her, what he found attractive in women, or having a type. Did he even have a type before she waltzed into his life, insulted him and passed out in front of him back then? Doubtful because these women seen or met in passing after gaining his freedom with the Wardens were not Lenya...and she was all there ever was for him.
Alistair grapples with his ever-growing (sexual) attraction to Lenya, especially as she sets out to chop wood, right in front of his sala...err eyes! Oh the humani...elfinity? Either way, Maker help him and his poor heart. Or yet another story of how Alistair loves women who could kick his ass in several dozen ways :D

Summary
Hiraeth is a seasoned adventurer, a bard traveling from place to place in search for orphans to rescue, gold to steal, and hearts to break. When they're kidnapped and infected with an illithid tadpole, they take it in surprising stride. The only thorn in their seemingly carefree side is one pale elf intent on cringing, whining, and arguing whenever they dare to show a sliver of kindness toward anyone but him. Unfortunately for them, he is also funny, theatrical, and decent to look at. Hiraeth is nothing if not a firm believer in making bad decisions for the bit, and he seems like a mistake waiting to be made.
Astarion is a slave -- or was a slave. He doesn't know which yet. All he knows is that his freedom depends on another; a chipper, powerless bard, whose large mouth won't close and whose songs are more annoying than entertaining. He has no choice but to let them lead, as those who would better oppose them seem to inexplicably accept their authority. But authority is exactly what he desires, and if Hiraeth has it, then he will have them. It is, of course, only their protection he wants. And not for the pretty love songs they sing to be about him.

It was at that precise moment that everything clicked into place.
Astarion wasn’t a person.
Vampires look like people. Smell like people. Walk like — actually, Astarion had a recognizable gait, a sort of bounce to his step, not really elven. And it turns out they can talk and act like people too, beautiful people that make your head spin, make you feel as happy and desired as you’ve never been.
But it’s all just an act — an act of predatory mimicry, designed to lure and entice, to make you drop your guard and voluntarily turn yourself into fucking bread.

In short: Tav refuses to believe vampires are thinking, feeling people. And if someone is not a person, you don't have to treat them as one. The abuse is strictly psychological, no violence. Consent is seemingly given, only the reader knows it's insincere.Bookmarked by Meishuu

Astarion's story hit me directly in the grey-ace feelings and so I created this, an examination of Astarion's feelings regarding sex, specifically sex with his favourite travelling companion, mostly because I wanted to see it. After all, sex must be a complicated thing after 200 years.
Also I melded two scenes for the ending, and made the hug longer because god knows that man deserves a longer hug than the game gave him.

This started as Owlcatober 2021 prompts inspired by lunarowena's list. Still sticking to the prompts mostly but deviating when needed for the narrative. Featuring an iomedae-worshipping dhampir who decides her existence isn't confusing enough and what the heck, let's become an Angel too.
A majority of these focus on Lann and the commander's relationship.
