Summary
The glowing man in the white suit and cravat, still suspended in mid-air, moved his arm in a wide swipe. His hand seemed to trace a glowing arc in the air, which then flew at great speed towards the man in black clothes. He raised his sword to intercept it, and there was a flash of light and a loud metallic 'clang'.
Anna pinched the skin on her left arm experimentally, and felt it. Pinching harder caused a definite pain.
Supposing for a moment that she wasn’t dreaming. What conclusions would that lead her to?
The first conclusion would clearly be that her entire view of reality was wrong...

Jack wakes up in the SGC to the news that his team is dead. If he weren't hearing the news from General Hammond he might not believe it--and even so it's not quite real until he sees the bodies. Once he does, he knows nothing is ever going to be the same again.
