Summary
The surrounding buildings are illuminated by the scarlet glow of lamps strung above, hazed by a soft mist. Both ends of the street are consumed by the fog, giving the illusion that it goes on for infinity. Lines of shops sit on the edge, and Wei Wuxian makes out odd trinkets being sold.
A thought slams into him, threatening to topple him over again once he’s on his feet. Nothing hurts, the pain is gone. The injuries he’d had just seemed to vanish.
When he looks up he’s taken aback by the startling sight of a boar glowering over him. No, not a boar he realizes on second glance, but a large muscular man with a boar head.
He makes a sound like a low pig snort, “Puh- damn new ghosts.”

Tommy has weird dreams-- he'd call them memories if they weren't so goddamn weird. He’s had them for years, and they were always written off as a child’s fanciful imagination. So when someone comes up to him one day, telling him they had them too, he should just ignore it… right?
Dream hurts people. Or he thinks he has, remembers he has. He knows it's not actually him doing it, he can’t have done it. So… why does it feel so real? That's when he meets a boy who looks too much like the person from the daydreams he seems to have, especially the ones where he's the worst.

Tubbo turned around to look to where the voice had come from. He blinked, seeing no one in the still blazing hot yard. He frowned, the heat just had gotten to him… that was all.
"Don't ignore me bitch!"
As Tubbo turned back to start to work on disassembling the car again he heard the voice. Looking up he saw a young blond boy with bright blue eyes in a dirty red and white t-shirt and patched shorts.
Tubbo backed up in shock, "What the-" He said suddenly as his eyes went wide.
In all the times he'd been making trips here… he'd never seen anyone else. The people who worked for the junkyard were usually gone before Tubbo arrived. As he steps back, Tubbo's foot landed awkwardly on a tire as he suddenly fell over.

This is a dystopia au for Dream SMP where Tubbo grew up inside Paradise, an organized perfect state with very strict rules and regulations all citizens are required to follow. However Tubbo is curious about what life is like outside the walls that protect his city, if there is anything waiting outside in the first place. All characters are based on the creator's character self from the server.

He passed each a set of shining diamond armor, and Tommy’s eyes lit up at the gift. Even as Tubbo protested, claiming it was his. Tommy didn’t mind where Dream had gotten the gift from.
