Mike barks a laugh. “I’m, unfortunately, requesting your companionship Thursday night to see Child’s Play 2 with Will and I.”
She sends him a look of bewilderment. “How did I get dragged into your date with Will?”
“Y’know, it’s really great that I can count on such discretion from you and Lucas. Super awesome that you don’t tell each other everything.” Max ignores him and he continues on. “Well, I tried my best, but he kind of looked at me all-dumbfounded and wasn’t saying anything, so I panicked.”
“Well, duh. He’s liked you since, like, birth. Did you even give him enough time to answer?”
“Of course I gave him enough time to answer.” Mike grits out, voice tight. “I know how to have a fucking conversation with someone, Maxine.”
Mike Wheeler can’t pick a major to save his life, is fighting for said life in the worst class ever (Astronomy 101), and is desperately trying to romance the best person in his life.

The root will submerge into the milk, and in a matter of minutes a small chibi of your destined soul mate will appear. These chibis will guide the person in hopes of better understanding their partners before their fateful encounter

Summary
Sometimes strong people want to be cared for, they want to give up control, trust someone enough that they don't have to take care of everything all the time.
So what happens when Usopp starts to really see the signs of Zoro acting that way only for Zoro to be involved in a horrible incident and try shutting everyone out aside from times of fighting.
Usopp feels that his friend shouldn't deal with this alone but at the same time understands why he wants to carry everything for everyone and not let anything out, but now he would make Zoro give all of that up even if it's only for a short period of time.
Zoro takes care of everyone, so who's going to take care of Zoro?

After a moment, it seemed like Luffy suddenly understood something, and his expression changed to a mix of knowing and curiosity. "Usopp, what are you not telling us?"
Usopp shifted his gaze from the ship to Luffy. "What do you mean?"
"You're hiding something from us."
"There's nothing to tell." Luffy, please drop it, Usopp thought. This isn't like you.
But Luffy approached Usopp slowly, with his determined gaze that always meant he was ready to defend his Nakama, even if the threat was coming from within.
Whether it was on the battlefield or the deck of the Thousand Sunny, Luffy was not one to easily let go of something, especially when a friend's well-being was at risk.
On the other hand, Merry reappearing in Usopp's life once again complicated things for him.
