Prowl goes on a vacation after a rather bad break up that has him reconsidering a lot of things in his life. When he gets a deal on a beautiful beach house beside a sheltered lagoon he doesn't think anything of it. No one warns him that there is a reason everyone avoids the Mithril Sea during the Acid Rain Season.
Mermechs are very territorial when returning to ancestral breeding grounds and Prowl is about to encounter a particularly charming example.

Every individual's spark has a specific pattern of resonance that's unique to the individual it belongs to, and that those "sparksongs" can either have harmony or dissonance with other mechs' sparks. The more complex the song, the more complicated finding resonance with another individual becomes. Perfect harmony is found in mechs that are sparkmates; in mechs who are meant to be together in some way.
Blockers had been standard practice since well before Brainstorm had been built; who would ever know if he lied about his number?

Maximal and Predacons each have a rich culture that goes all the way back to the Great War between Autobots and Decepticons. Even after thousands of generations have passed, they still don’t know each other all that well. Miscommunication and myths roam in between their ranks.
Rattrap has heard it before: CCC aka Con Claiming Culture. Most Maximals think it is a myth the porn industry thought of up for the pit of it. Primus knows how dirty and kinky mecha’s minds can get.
But Rattrap has infiltrated the other side. He knows the truth. He has observed it with his own optics. Doesn’t understand it one bit, but it remained a reminder for just how savage the Preds were.
He never thought he’d take a part in it. Then again, he could have never predicted the Beast Wars. -
