Dear Laurie,
They’re calling me Superboy Prime (I’m the real Superboy now! I can’t wait to get home, I’ll show everyone well, actually, I’ll probably have to keep a secret identity. (Just like Superman!)) since our Earth is apparently Earth Prime. It’s a little nerve wracking to go out and beat up the bad guys and my powers are just so new but Superman is helping teach me to use them. And isn’t that so weird?!?? My superpowers??
Superboy Prime writes letters to Laurie, for when he gets back to Earth Prime.

Summary
Unfortunately, the Super guy hears her. He tugs on the other’s jacket, frowning. “Hey, we need to pay.”
The helmet turned around to somehow look incredulous at him despite the blank expression. “No we don’t.”
“Yes we do! Come on, heroes wouldn’t shoplift.”
Helmet pulls his arm away to gesture. “One, that is entirely false. Two, you have killed,” he pauses for emphasis, “so many people.”

Summary
There’s something to be said about how the light falls over Prime’s hands, creeping in through Jason’s kitchen window. Prime pauses, looking up, and quirks an eyebrow with a smirk that catches the sunrise. “What is? Or are you just insulting me? I get it’s kind of your personality, but I thought we got past being all rough and grumpy like, last arc.”
“Fuck off.” Jason rolls his eyes, ignoring the later part of Prime’s speech.

Summary
You’re wearing fabric that drapes over thin hips, and your mom is spitting up empty promises into a porcelain bowl. You stand in the doorway, away from her prayer.
You’re looking at the mirror, thinking, what’s wrong with me?
