Summary
Dean wasn’t sure why he was even scrolling through Craigslist. Especially not the casual encounters section. It was four days before Thanksgiving. Not like he was gonna try and hook up with someone before that shitstorm. After, sure, but not before.
He kept scrolling, though, not clicking anything until a title caught his eye.
Alone on Thanksgiving? Mad at your dad? I am a 28 year old male felon who has no degree, but has studied enough theologies of the world, behavioral psychology, and philosophy to set your whole family’s teeth on edge—no matter which way they lean, politically, religiously or in terms of neuroses. I drive a van the same age as me that’s got a mural on the side of an angel holding an orgy. I can play between the ages of 20-30 depending on whether I shave. I live off an inheritance, and sell weed on the side. If you’d like to have me as your strictly platonic date for Thanksgiving, but have me pretend to be in a very long or serious relationship (monogamous or polyamorous, whichever sounds most like it would freak out su familia) with you (and/or others), to torment your family, I’m game...

Summary
When Michael was brought into being, he was created with a sole purpose: to serve God.
Michael was created to be His weapon, His sword against all He deemed unholy or unjust. Michael was a warrior, a soldier, the good son who’d righteously struck down his brother on his Father’s holy orders. He was not created to be curious or joyous or furious; he simply was, and that was how he’d lived ever since he had first come into being, all those eons ago.
And yet, he’d somehow found himself here—contentedly watching a human cheer as he successfully flipped an egg in a frying pan, turning to Michael excitedly as he laughed with glee.

Cas asks Dean to marry him, and Dean can't think of a reason to say no.

"Dean," Cas says calmly, gingerly sitting his fork down, and oh, this is gonna be a thing, Dean can tell. Sure enough, it is because Cas goes on to say, "What would you think if I suggested we get married?"
Dean blinks and swallows the food in his mouth, staring at Cas curiously. "I would think...you were either on drugs or going insane, why?"
"I'm not inebriated, nor mentally unstable."
"I—I…" Dean takes in a deep breath, then blows it out heavily. "Cas, you're not fucking with me, are you?"
"I'm not," Cas tells him.
"Okay," he says, "fuck it, let's get hitched."
"Thank you," Cas murmurs sincerely, then picks his fork back up and goes right back to eating.

Summary
The man hovering over him leaned back, releasing Grian completely. Cold night air rushed in to fill the void.
“I guess it’s out in the open now,” the stranger hummed. “Shame. I wanted to avoid this.”
With the additional glow occupying the space between them, Grian was finally able to catch features that were lost in the prior darkness. His curiosity outweighed all else, and he drank them in greedily. As soon as he saw who sat across from him, alarms blared in his mind.
This man wasn’t a civilian, wasn’t even a hero.
“Hello, Doctor,” the villain mused. “You were quite the help today.”

Summary
Karkat Vantas always accepted the fact that he was not going to live past nine sweeps. It was just a certainty of his sad, miserable life. At least, that was until his friends found out and decided to hatch a plan to get him out of the Alternian empire. A plan that actually worked.
Now, he was stranded on an alien planet, at the mercy of some strange creature that was either trying to help him or going about some freaky ritual of flirting with your food before you eat it.
Also, aliens have sunglasses.
He was better off dying on Alternia, wasn't he?
