“Scott?” Jimmy’s voice cut through the haze like a thin thread of panic. It was sharp and immediate, cracking the fragile veil of the fog. His eyes were wide, heart hammering in his chest. He leaned forward, shoulders tensed, as if bracing for a blow. “Scott! Oh god— Scott, don’t you dare!”
Tango’s hand pressed gently against Jimmy’s shoulder, stilling him. “Jimmy,” he said, low and calm, voice threaded with careful patience. “He’s awake. He’s just… seeking warmth. He flopped over me— he’s alive.”
Jimmy froze, a hand hovering in midair, breathing stuttering as he stared down at Scott. The faint rise and fall of his chest under Tango’s hand was enough for the tiniest thread of relief, and he let out a shaky breath. “He… he’s okay?”

chapter 1 Impulse goes to Tango only to be surprised with a surprise party. His wings go up in defense and he had to get them down before anyone sees.
chapter 2 Impulse goes to the beach for a beach party but doesn't get into the water sine he can't let anyone see his wings. The other hermits throw him in the water as a joke.
chapter 3 Impulse is at a sleepover where Grian shows him something gold. Gold and dragons don't mix well
+1 rewrite for the season 8 ending, Impulse reveals that he is a dragon when he tries to safe a friend. How will the other hermits react to him being a dragon?

Everything hurts, and it all hurts so badly. It’s not a stinging type of pain, or an ache like when you have a bruise. It’s a pain that burns under his skin, that screams at him with hatred. It can’t be quieted with a bandaid, or with an ice pack pressed against it. (Although ice packs do help, a small bit but they help regardless. Heat tends to work better.)
