Summary
The day her mother went to sleep forever was a day of short lived celebration for Hallownest. Her mother and a sibling she never knew, sacrificed for a kingdom through the whims of her father. The worst day Hornet had ever been through.
Yet, her home was not saved. The sickness merely flickered with its creator’s entrapment before resuming its slow rampage.
Her guardians and fellow Weavers are left scrambling for a solution, leaving Hornet alone in her room to watch the beginning of the end. She wants to help, to help save Hallownest like her mother wanted to, but she is turned down again and again as they claim her too young to take such a mantle. Too small to even properly wield a needle.
But she is Queen of Deepnest, Daughter of Hallownest, child of Weaver and Wyrm! And she isn’t going to just watch her home crumble around her!

(Everything goes to shit way sooner than in cannon. Its literally just Ghost and Hornet fucking around and finding out during the end of Hallownest while trying to save it. Like co-op Hollow Knight except played backwards essentially)

Summary
Ghost has worn himself thin as of late. Memory hazed with tired soil. He finds himself in the care of Grimm a carnival master. The 2 end up getting to know a small bit about each other before the show begins only for Ghost to react oddly to the false summoners. Flames embedded into him as he tries his best to keep his memory. He soon finds himself and Grimm intertwined. But he had had something the others didn't understand. Why he refuses to harm those he cares for. Only scratches he gives. Grimm becomes worried the ritual won't be complete. Ghost's journey leads him to uncap something he's been holding onto for a long time. The glass beginning to overflow. 2 higher beings only growing stronger with the desired flames. What will happen and why does Hornet have a strange feeling Ghost is loosing himself.

But then, at the height of its jump, it twists its body around. With accompanying flashes of explosive white, it blasts forth two writhing spirits of soul and turns back. The slight recoil from the spells pushes it far enough toward the ledge for it to land, and with little delay it brushes past her, continuing forward as if nothing happened.
Hornet sputters and whips around. The vessel disappears behind elevated chunks of stone pathways, the sounds of aggravated squits, charging moss chargers, and nail swings following its wake.
