Damn.
The slow burn to conquer all slow burns. 140k words to go from hate to anger to surprise to denial to exploration to reciprocation.
The key themes in this fic were therapeutic change, healing, the cyclical nature of bureaucracy and change, and the insidious lingering roots of hate and oppression.
This fic explored the central premise of a Reveal of the wizarding world to the non-magical world, and blood purism's effect on this. It chronicles Harry's adjustment to post-war, and the way that Draco Malfoy at times represents all of the horrible things that had happened to him.
What an epic. This fic excels in the writing of nuanced characters and their myriads of motivations and relationships.
