The thief was looking around the dock as if expecting to see someone suddenly appear when a shot rang out and a bullet tore through the sail, leaving a neat hole. A group of figures in Sounisian colors had appeared on the other end of the dock.
Her kidnapper sighed theatrically. "We'll do this the hard way, then. Into the boat, Your Highness." He offered her his arm and Irene considered her options only briefly. A fight would be short and end unhappily for her. Without looking, she stepped past him into the dau. It rocked under her feet as the thief severed the ties to the dock and pushed them away.

Alternatively titled: The Entire Goddamn School Gives Up On Trying To Understand These Two & Aizawa is Really Tired.
Izuku and Bakugou had a long and complicated history, but most of the school was pretty sure that they understood where the two currently stood as rivals. Then Izuku's dad showed up on campus and everyone's preconceptions were mercilessly thrown out the window. In which Bakugou tries to murder a man, has a soft side and convinces his entire class the twilight zone is real.
Ft. Part 2: Turns out Izuku and Bakugou will work together willingly if given proper motivation. Endeavor showing up for a training exercise apparently qualifies. Aizawa is really tired of these children not asking for help and everyone else is absolutely terrified (and secretly very glad these two don't work together more often).

But no, he hadn’t asked about her, he’d asked about her partner--how amazing Chat was, how impressive and cool he’d been.
Not...how she’d hoped it would go. Did he wish Chat had held him like a princess, bounding around Paris?! Every moment he’d had his face pressed to her shoulder, had he wished it was black leather?! “TIKKI,” she cried, lifting the comforter off her head. “What if he likes cats better than ladybugs,” she groaned, and Tikki floated up alongside the ladder, genteelly smothering her giggles. “Tikki, what if he likes boy ladybugs better than even girl cats, what if he marries Chat, who am I even going to attend as?!
