Summary
Watching Ilya Rozanov with children was a sight to see for Shane. He seemed to light up when they were around and was always so good with them. Shane couldn't stop himself from thinking that he would be a great dad.

Shane Hollander's unconcious body flew across the ice like a limp doll. Svetlana's eyes flicked to the jumbotron to see Ilya’s face exploded across its screen. A referee pushed him back towards his bench. Her lifelong friend betrayed no obvious over-emotion, but Svetlana could see the concern hidden in his features. He looked like a dejected child being forced away from its most beloved treasure. Secrets be damned, Svetlana was not going to pretend she didn’t understand why.

Svetlana is at the game where Shane gets injured and decides to bring Ilya to the hospital. Someone needs to step up and be Ilya's friend in this moment, and Ilya needs to tell someone about his growing relationship with Shane.
