Summary
Not for the first time that week—or even that day—Han Sooyoung mourned the life she could have lived if she’d never met Kim Dokja. If it weren’t for that bastard, she would probably be running the whole peninsula right now, not doing rotten leg work for people who wouldn’t even appreciate it. She certainly wouldn’t be caught liver-deep in a manticore tail with only a lost dagger to show for it.
It was a pitiful way to go, and Han Sooyoung couldn’t fathom how she’d ended up here.
. . . Whatever. As if she’d ever go down in such a pathetic way, anyway. And—perhaps most importantly—Yoo Sangah was not allowed to be right, no matter how much blood Han Sooyoung had to cough up to keep it that way.
Or not cough up, as it were.

There was an acute sense of shame making its way through Wally’s body. He felt heat rise in his cheeks. And what kind of father, what kind of person would need to check constantly that his children were still there in the bassinet, would distrust the baby monitors, would surge awake half a dozen times in one night with a panicky feeling in his ribs that insisted they weren't really there? Not a normal one, certainly.
Or: Wally West is the fastest man alive. He's also a father now. Turns out he has a lot to learn from his twin babies. It also turns out nothing stays buried forever, no matter how much he wishes it could.

Kim Dokja gets de-aged as a result of a mishap with an artifact, post-epilogue. Uncomfortable truths come out.
(Or, they love Kim Dokja, no matter what form he’s taken.
He doesn’t know what to do with this much love.)
...
When he wakes up again, it’s to a whole group of people, most of which are noisy and loud.
He lies there in the soft blanket for a minute, taking in the details of a hospital room, and noting the IV going into the crook of his elbow. He attempts to sit up, wincing when it pulls at the mess of his chest.
There’s an odd weight on one of his legs, and there’s a fluffy...creature resting on it, curled into his side. It’s warm.
The room goes quiet all of a sudden, and he finds himself staring back at an odd assortment of people.
