An exploration around the Malto's property goes awry when Bumblebee and the Terrans stumble upon a magical pond that appears to have a singular ability: turn whoever touches it young.
Consequently, the Terrans have to deal with a significantly younger Bumblebee - B-127 - with a heightened sense of self-importance and attitude. Confusion gripping all sides of the fiasco, the group of sparklings desperately search for a way to restore him to the mentor they know, all while trying to navigate their new and terrifying relationship.
Not that B-127's helping make things easier.

Optimus kind of looked like shit. Or perhaps just unfamiliar. Maybe both. His eye paint had almost entirely chipped off, leaving desaturated smears around his optics and nose. It was strange how his eyes looked so much smaller like this. That fact didn't concern him much, though it had been a very long time since he last saw himself so behind on personal maintenance. The uneven stains, however, made him look dull and sickly in a way that scratched his pride.
He would have to do something about that. Did someone say reckless use of industrial strength paint stripper?

This wasn't how warriors died. Not in glorious battle with weapons blazing and battle-cries echoing through the cosmos. This was a disposal problem being solved through the simple application of pressure. He was dying. Locked away in a dead-end corridor where no one would ever find him, where his remains might eventually be discovered by some maintenance drone and quietly disposed of without ceremony or remembrance. The weight of isolation pressed on him as heavily. No rescue would come because no one even knew he was missing. He would be forgotten, his spark snuffed out silently in this endless. While Shockwave's plans proceeded unchecked, while everything he had tried to protect crumbled to ash.
The steel walls crept closer still, measuring his remaining existence in millimeters.
And then, just as all hope flickered out like a candle in a hurricane, just as the last fragments of his sanity prepared to scatter-
The floor under him didn't just vanish, floors didn’t disappear, neither should walls.
Reality didn't blink, it didn’t lie.
But somehow Blurr fell through the fabric of existence itself.
