A shuffle; scratch on wood. It comes before he rounds the corner but so much happens in the moment following it that his brain simply does not process the two as separate events; it’s too busy freezing in mute shock.
Because it’s a dog. A massive, surprised, angry one, burnt orange, messy fur all over, jumping to a defensive position with its back arched and teeth bare at the sight of him. Streaks of blood drying in its matted hide.
Growling.
And in the vital second where he could be doing anything, just about anything to avoid confrontation, to get out of the way or try to placate— Bruno stares at it blankly.
He’s sure he heard a voice; clearly enough to let himself expect something else. Words.
It just doesn’t scan. It doesn’t.
Bruno is bitten, and it gets much worse from there. At least, that's what he's expecting.

He's in some of your classes, specifically Maths, Art, Science and Drama. Whenever you see him in those lessons, he's messing around, jumping onto chairs, yelling and laughing, throwing anything he gets his hands on. His deep laugh spreads like wildfire, and he's usually always laughing at something. He also talks to a lot of girls in those classes, making them feel special, even though he treats the next one just the same. And they don't know it.
But you're somewhat sentient. He's never spoken to you, nor interacted with you much. Sure, some indirect things have happened, such as he's chucked a pen, and it's landed somewhere around you, and you pass it back to him wordlessly, but considering your...well, appearance, personality, interests, all that, he's never pointed you out, nor made fun of you to his mates. It comes as a surprise to you that he hasn't acted cruelly to you, yet at the same time, it's relieving.
Does he really just not pay attention to you? Or is it the complete opposite?

There’s a nod. “You smile more. Look at ease.” Less haunted. Less pain. “It’s good.”

A slow push forward as it all began to settle slowly between one another. Conversations were had. Between just a few. An aspect akin to forgiveness, perhaps acceptance being the better word, was kept quiet. A new normal was finding itself. It wasn’t perfect. It still remains messy, but there was something managing itself between his former teammates. His family.

“I don’t appreciate your schemes. This is the first and only time I will allow it, on account of what you’ve done for me.”

“I know you do.” Leone murmurs. “He’ll like anything you give him. It doesn’t need to be this big spectacle."
The holiday season is more than appealing, especially for a child. A warmer meaning comes from the notion of family.

Whether it was a true or not, the risk was to high to let it go and it’s better to blow a candle then try to stop the forestfire. Or something like that. Honestly Mista didn’t care.
On a mission Guido Mista gets hit by an enemy stand user. While it may seem that nothing happened, the next morning will be the start of an adventure in which the passione gang will truly discover Mista.
