Robin knew she was heavily moronic and dopey when it came to crushes, and she knew there was no way to ever act on them. Hawkins was a small town in the 80’s. Coming out publicly and dating girls was a fucking death sentence. So really, burying these goddamned idiotic feelings shouldn’t have been that hard. Read: shouldn’t.
Yet she couldn’t take her fucking eyes off Nancy the Priss Wheeler’s hair. The way the curls bounced as she walked with pure confidence, her eyes trained on the gun as the tight curls fell into her beautiful face adorned with unneeded makeup.
Steve was at her side, both of them covered in puke and blood, and whatever drugs the Russians had given them down in the base. She was still knocked off her tits on fucking truth serum and the high of finally having come out to someone, Steve Harrington nonetheless.
And she could not for the life of her pull her eyes away from the pretty, bouncy coils of brunette hair, wondering how it would feel to touch and run her fingers through.
