Miyo raised an eyebrow at that, which made him immediately sit up straighter.
“I mean, uh- considering the way Quirkless people are often treated, it’d make sense if you wanted to avoid any unnecessary social situation.”
“Ah.” She stared at him for a few moments, eyes slightly widened in surprise.
How did he know that? Sure, discrimination towards Quirkless people wasn’t much of a secret, but for him to actually understand the ways it could affect them?
Did she just have low standards? Was that it?

Found in the river as a baby, Bruno has only one clue about his family: the blanket he was found wrapped in, embroidered with his name and a caterpillar. Finding them has never really been a dream of his; after all, they're surely dead, just like his father.
But when his village is destroyed, he unknowingly follows his parents' footsteps and finds himself in a hidden village, saved by a magical family.
Surely this is too good to be true. As Bruno waits for the other shoe to drop, for some catch to reveal itself, mysteries are unearthed and secrets are revealed. It seems the Madrigals are missing someone too.
Maybe, just maybe, he has a family after all.

Korra still can't figure out how to airbend, Aang's last words left more questions than answers, and she can't manage to contact his spirit. The knot in her chest keeps getting tighter - but that doesn't matter. Korra will keep going forward with a smile and fight. She's the Avatar, and everyone else just has to deal with it.
A full series rewrite, from the point of view of every Team Avatar member.
