Summary
Taylor triggers as a Fullborn. She has the abilities of the Lord Ruler and the knowledge of how to use Hemalurgic spikes. In the absence of naturally-occurring God metals, she can use the ashes of dead capes to make atium or lerasium. A short description is that Taylor can either literally eat bits of metal and then ‘burn’ them for certain powers, store attributes like strength or speed inside of metals she’s touching, or make metal spikes and stab people to put their abilities/powers inside the spikes, and then stab someone else to give that person whatever is in the spikes.

Summary
The Celestial Forge is the greatest combination of crafting powers in Jumpchain, meaning it is the greatest combination of crafting abilities in all of fiction. In Brockton Bay a forgotten side character's trigger event ends with him linked to the Celestial Forge rather than his intended shard. His slowly expanding collection of tinker abilities and the influence of his new benefactor pulls him into the heart of the conflict about to rock the city and decide the fate of the world.
As part of a writing experiment that turned into a narrative. Perks and items form the Celestial Forge (pastebin.com/35AJD9Lj) are selected randomly based on progress through the story. Ultimately an excuse to explore the technology and crafting abilities of multiple sources of fiction.
