Summary

No longer a naive boy but a brazen Jedi Knight, Cal Kestis storms Coruscant under the impression that the Force will always protect him, no matter how foolish his objective. Abandoned by Saw Gerrera after his mission goes sideways, Cal finds himself imprisoned in the bowels of the Jedi Temple with echoes of the past haunting him and years of regrets making him question why he followed the will of the Force rather than answering to the pull of his heart.

After learning of the captured Jedi on Coruscant, a pair of revolutionaries finding their footing in the budding rebellion, two forgotten sisters, and a Jedi whose brush with darkness changed him forever come together to take on an impossible mission that will force them to face their demons in order to save one of their own.
