This fic takes place after AAWaS, being one the last fics in the Two Priests vs Like a Million Demons and Like a Million Demons On a Girls' Trip, following John and Garcia’s relationship after they defeat Gary and the Order of the Second Death. John struggles to return to a normal life, and his trauma seems to haunt him wherever he goes. But there’s hope, even in the darkest hours. Not to mention that Garcia always has his back.

Summary
This fic takes place in an alternate reality where the events of Chapter 3 went a little bit differently. Instead of defeating Astaroth by himself, John is fatally injured by the demon before he could even enter the Crucible. John, his faith in himself shattered completely, is taken in by Father Garcia, and the two fight together to end the Eternal Order of the Second Death once and for all. And as they do, John finds himself catching feelings for the older priest. The two end up not only battling the forces of hell, but also confronting John's inner demons.

Summary
This takes place at the same time as An Angel With a Shotgun and is essentially what the Order of the Second Death did after Gary’s defeat. This can be read either before or after An Angel With a Shotgun, it doesn’t really matter, since they take place at the same time. Although some of the cult’s plans for our main cast in the first fic is/should be revealed in better detail here, while in the first fic it’s more hinted at at first than said outright.
