If someone asks who his best friend is, he would have to say Technoblade. And that’s a bit pathetic, naming your older brother as your best friend. Not that he has anything against Techno. He loves his older brother, he really does, but he wishes he had regular friends like anyone else. People he could bond with like any other citizen.

So I propose that you get to take him home, and I get my military resources. I’ll even send you a few thousand dollars monthly along with him.” He leans forward again, resting his elbows on the table. “Do we have a deal?”
Phil cannot even begin to unpack what was just said. Fucking pardon?
“Sir, that is your son you are trying to bargain away.” It’s Techno who speaks, voicing as much disbelief as Phil feels.

So he didn’t have to worry about Techno finding him, as he put on the mask, allowing his powers to shift his features enough to be completely unrecognizable. He didn’t have to worry about Techno finding him, as he let his alias roll off his tongue, telling himself who he was.
