Summary
Tobirama was technically a boy. Keyword being technically. He had been born a boy, that was for sure, and had stayed a boy until his fourteenth year of life, where he had attempted a sealing experiment at three in the morning, while severely sleep deprived and unable to distinguish his left from his right. Unsurprisingly, this had blown up in his face spectacularly.

Summary
Tobirama feels his chakra curl in irritation, the warmth of his fire recoiling from him, like Tobirama's very presence is repulsive, abhorrent. This is an exercise in repetition, he knows Madara detests him, like most people, but absolutely nothing about it ever gets easier, it only ever gets worse. Something painful drops through his chest, and the feeling is overwhelming, excruciating.
Someday, he thinks. His heart will finally have enough and it will quit, stop beating and grow cold, crushed under the pain. And so he would die, not under the blade of an enemy but the weight of his own loneliness, rejected and excluded.
"I am only trying to be polite, I do not mean to pick a fight. In this time of peace, I do not see any reason for strife." Tobirama replies, tired and curt.
"My version of peace," Madara looks at him indifferently, "has no place for someone like you."
Tobirama watches wordlessly as Madara walks away, even as something inside him breaks.

Summary
“Finally,” a voice mutters, heavy with exhaustion.
Izuna stiffens. He knows that voice. The familiarity sends a jolt of awareness through him, cutting through the haze like a blade. His sluggish mind struggles to place it, but his instincts don’t wait for confirmation.
He turns his head, ignoring the wave of disorientation that follows. His vision sharpens, focusing on the last person he ever expected to see.
Senju fucking Tobirama....or...
Tobirama gets sick of Madara moping around Konoha and decides to do something about it.

Summary
Hashirama saved Izuna and Madara agreed to peace. Konoha is standing on its new foundation, resting on the shoulders of two giants.
But where does that leave their loyal shadows? The little brothers that swore themselves to the way of war? What good are their sharp edges when the world wants to learn to be soft?
Who would understand that it's not so easy to let go of living your life in ever-present readiness to fight, to kill?[despite this vague summary this is actually very much a fix-it for the Founder's era. Izuna lives. The Shinobi Wars sort of don't happen. Sort of. Everyone lives. Hashimada is canon. Couple of OCs kicking around to fill the background.]

The second Hashirama followed the first, only to be followed himself by two more. Madara focused his chakra sense, but he didn’t need it to confirm that none of them were clones.
They were simply four identical brothers.
