When Katsuki got home from work he could tell his boyfriends were plotting something. Their apartment had that air to it. The type of feeling that made Katsuki huff out an exasperated sigh because Hitoshi and Denki were up to something more often than not.
“Can we get a cat?” Hitoshi asks.
“Wha– Toshi, you were supposed to ease into it!"

It was the worst day of every month, the day that had happened every month since his early presentation. There was a circle around the date in his calendar, but that didn't mean he should behave any differently. He shouldn't have to. Since he'd presented in his second year of middle school, long before everyone else, he'd tossed any expectation that he could rely on anyone but himself into the garbage.
