    I was raised the way that teaches you to be selfless. That's what I was doing my whole life. Taking care of my little brother when my parents couldn't or didn't want to, helping with chores, working, doing my best at school so I don't embarrass my family name, following my father's dreams and mothers expectations. Everything for them, to satisfy them, to please them. No one was ever satisfied with me though, I'm never good enough for no one. So as usual I bought a drink to reward myself for a once again perfect score on the exam. One drink turns into five and I find myself following some guy with pretty eyes. What I didn't know is that next time we meet I'm not going to be the one drunk and it's not going to be the last time I see him either. Quite the opposite, he'll manage to turn my life upside down, ruining it completely, and only the end of the world will be able to fix all of it.

    Harry is enjoying his new life in Forks. He has more family than he knows what to do with, friends who know him and accept him for who he is and a boyfriend who sparkles in sunlight. What more could he ask for?

    Well. He could do without the whole Volturi thing. And the ICW is back to being annoying. And he keeps collecting teenagers and he is really running out of space in his backyard at this point.

    But all in all, Harry is doing a great job of pretending to be a Muggle. A great job. Shut up Jasper.

    Harry had been a lot of things in his life, but happy hadn’t been one of them for a very long time. He and Jasper loved each other. The wolves trusted Harry to be the middle man between themselves and the Coven. Bree was learning to be her own person with Rosalie and Emmett’s support. Edward and Bella were about to get married (too absorbed in each other to annoy Harry). Carlisle and Esme were thrilled to see their family as close as it had ever been (despite Harry avoiding them often), while Alice bathed in the happiness of her family.

    Everything seemed so peaceful.

    Mortuus was still a thorn in his side, but he was growing annoyingly fond of that thorn.

    What Harry hadn’t been expecting was a series of unpredictable events that would lead to him actually standing up for and defending Bella Swan. Oh, and having to tear down another stupid and arbitrary government. But when you're Harry Potter, what else could you really expect?

    Sequel to My Soul, Your Heart.
