Summary
“I learned my lesson while I was away, Dean,” Cas says. “I serve heaven, I don’t serve man, and I certainly don’t serve you.” He rotates, freeing his sleeve from Dean’s hand, and walks away.
Dean stares after him. Sam, somewhere behind him, says nothing.
The silence breaks with a baby’s wail, and Dean whirls around, eyes finding the baby, still in her carseat, a pair of dead demons next to her, including the one that had been inside the baby’s mother.

Summary
How long has it been? Twenty minutes? A hundred years? Castiel isn’t sure. He shifts, closes all one hundred and thirty-two of his eyes. He pokes at the warm thing, but it is like it is part of him. Castiel thinks of Sam--the least painful person to think of--and wonders what he would do if he were in this situation. Perhaps Castiel should pick up his vessel and try to find someone to talk to, or find the Shadow and ask it to put him to sleep, but he’s not sure what the point is. Either someone will find him, or they won’t. He has eternity--what’s a little bit of being awake?

Summary
Dean's life has changed irrevocably since the apocalypse ended. Losing Sam had almost killed him, but despite everything he’s been through, Dean has managed to make a life for himself. It’s probably not quite the apple pie life Sam had imagined for him but he wouldn't have it any other way.
Five years after Sam's death, Dean receives an unexpected phone call that threatens not only his new life, but the world at large.
