Those who cannot flee on foot, Sylvanas takes in the remains of the Thalassian navy, and they make for the neutral nation of Kul Tiras. Little do they know that Arthas has already been there to slake his rage for a perceived betrayal. Yet, it is not under his control. Someone else holds sway over the ghosts of Kul Tiras.

Following the events of Wounded Heart, Sylvanas finds herself in the hands of Tyrande Whisperwind, alone and without Jaina, her sisters or her friends. The first battle came and went somewhat smoothly, but soon the rest of Azeroth shall learn of her return. Ties will break. Bonds will be tested. The political stage will be shaken.
Sylvanas must decide the future she wants for herself, but to do that she has to get back to Jaina. Her enemies close in and begin to show their true strength, once again threatening the timeline that has been established. Being trapped in another world is a hell of a thing.
You learn a lot about yourself. Who you really are, deep down inside. What lines you'll cross to stay alive, to try and get home. Who you think you can trust, who you think you love. Just how many lies you'll be willing to tell to keep your secrets. How much blood you're willing to shed.
I shed a lot of it, in Kirkwall, and I've spent seven years in purgatory as a result. Seven years trapped somewhere beyond reality, but not quite in the Fade. My only company myself, and a Desire Demon just as unhappy with the situation as I am. Oh. And... an Elven Goddess, I suppose.
Kind of hard to forget about her, since she's the one giving the orders now. Giving me the truth of how I ended up in Thedas, why I ended up there, and just what she expects me to do now that the Inquisition has begun. Can't say I'm happy about any of it, or that I'm about to actually follow her orders.
But then... I'm not sure how much of a choice I'll have.

“What’s so great about this Lena, anyway? She’s just an actress."
Nia starts to ramble. Something about how Lena is one of the greatest actresses of her generation and she could play Oscar the Grouch in a movie and it would still be a blockbuster. Nia’s talking about her like she’s some mythical deity. Slowly, I take out my phone and do a quick Google search.
Lena Kieran Luthor, it says. American actress. The image on her Wikipedia page is of her in a sleek black gown posing on some red carpet. Luthor is the recipient of numerous accolades, including one Academy Award, one Emmy award, two Screen Actors Guild awards, and two Golden Globe awards.
I click on the images and close-ups of her face pop up. She looks like a Renaissance painting, all glassy pale skin and ethereal green eyes.
Then there's the paparazzi photos, Lena picking up groceries or filling up her gas tank somewhere in LA. Somehow, she managed to get a middle finger up in all those photos. I scroll some more and notice something else. In nearly all the paparazzi photos, there’s always a book in her hand. One hand holding a book, the other hand flipping the bird. What a character.

Summary
The kryptonian challenges her, it challenges her long-secured spot at the top of earths hierarchy. A silent predator lying unseen, her prey being any whom she desires for nothing can stop her. Not that she indulges herself in such meaningless cruelty, not anymore.
Though the potential threat of someone having the might to challenge her place. For someone to come between her and her sustenance like a rival predator would over prey, that alone awakens something positively primal in Lena.
Wishing for a new start, an amicable relationship with the girl of steel and for her truth to the remain unseen might be a tad too ambitious as her own instinct tears her apart at the seams.

There had always been so many things I loved about the story of the Sith Inquisitor. The cleverness, the biting sarcasm, the triumphant story of rising from slave to Dark Councilor in a handful of years, of ritualized Sith Sorcery and, of course, of massive lightning storms. I had always imagined that, should I wake up one day in the world of Star Wars, I would be my favorite character in my favorite universe.
Then I awoke, strapped to a table, a slave being tortured and twisted, body and soul, for the amusement and 'advancement' of my owner. I realized that the world I had seen had only been a fraction of it, only the parts that wouldn't fall afoul of Ratings and censorship laws. And I realized that the path to glory was not so easy as a game made it seem.

Summary
Kara and Lena have been best friends since they met in college and have grown into adults together and Kara is painfully in love with her best friend while Lena has dated various men and women throughout their entire friendship. And Kara never really minded those relationships because Kara could tell that none of them would really last. None of them were ever good enough for Lena and Kara could see that they would end in failure until one day Lena was gushing over her latest date with someone who she seemed to really, really like. It turned into a significant other until finally one day Lena told Kara about the ring on her finger because she’d said yes after finally finding “the one.”
It was in that moment that Kara realized that she had taken Lena for granted, had taken their friendship for granted and now she had to pay for never finding the courage to tell Lena about her feelings. Kara had never told Lena about her true feelings because she thought she would just have time and keep having more time until the day she realized that she didn’t. Time had run out and Lena was going to walk down the aisle, asking Kara to be her Maid of Honor and Kara was a masochist. She had said yes.

“Do you know where Kara begins and Supergirl ends?”
A car somewhere on the other side of the city hits its brakes, and the rubbery screech of tires causes Kara to look up at Lena. She knits her brow, and shakes her head, trying to dislodge the intruding sound and process what Lena is asking. This is far outside of what she was expecting; a talk about hurt feelings and all the ugly mechanics of it, but this, this is confrontational.
“What?”
“Do you even know who you are? Does anyone? Or is this,” Lena waves her free hand up and down in the space between them, “just another lie too?” she says, finishing the last sip of her drink as she walks forward.
Or, Kara walks into a disaster of her own design, and deals with a fallout that drudges up much more than just her lies to Lena
