Summary
Luke Skywalker has triumphed. The Emperor is dead, and his father has returned to the light. But as Anakin Skywalker breathes his last, the Force trembles. Another consciousness, another soul, merges with Luke at this pivotal moment, seamlessly, instantaneously. The result: a Luke still himself, yet subtly, irrevocably changed. One: legendary heroism, rebuilding the Jedi Order, becoming the galaxy's protector. The other: a desolate path of loss and despair, ending with him a forgotten hermit.
