My Version of Chapel’s StoryChristine Chapel is often just a side character in Star Trek— a nurse secretly in love with Spock, never given much space to develop. That always felt like a waste to me. So I decided to rewrite her story my way.
Originally, I had big plans for her origin. I wanted her mother to be Number One. Then SNW came along and changed things. I had to adapt my own version of her past.
I still hope that maybe Una could be her mother after all. After all, in that one episode with the light, Christine isn’t affected by the illness—she only gets "put to sleep" by La’an. But for now, I’ll leave it as it is, just to be safe…Don’t expect the classic idealistic Federation where everything is perfect, and everyone gets what they deserve. The Federation can be amazing—but not for everyone. Some people have to fight to find their place. Some have to overcome more obstacles than others. And Christine is one of them.
So if you’re interested in a harsher, more realistic take on the Federation, where not everyone starts from the same place and not all ideals work flawlessly, you might enjoy this version.

Moje verze příběhu Christine Chapelové
Christine Chapel je ve Star Treku často jen vedlejší postava – ošetřovatelka, která je tajně zamilovaná do Spocka, ale nikdy nedostane pořádný prostor. To mi vždycky přišlo škoda. Takže jsem se rozhodla přepsat její příběh podle svého.
Původně jsem měla velké plány s její rodinou – chtěla jsem, aby její matka byla Number One, první důstojnice pod Pikem. Pak ale přišel Strange New Worlds a zamíchal kartami. Musela jsem se přizpůsobit a vytvořit svou vlastní verzi její minulosti. I když stále doufám, že to bude možné ;) Přeci jen Christine nebyla ovlivněna tou nemocí....
Nečekejte klasickou idealistickou Federaci, kde je všechno dokonalé a každý dostane, co si zaslouží. Federace může být úžasná – ale ne pro každého. Někteří lidé v ní bojují, aby našli své místo. Někteří musí překonat víc překážek než jiní. A Christine je jednou z nich.
Takže jestli vás zajímá drsnější, realističtější pohled na Federaci, kde ne každý má stejnou startovní čáru a ne všechny ideály fungují dokonale, možná se vám tahle verze bude líbit.

Jsem zase posedlá Star trekem, v hlavě mi bzučí pár fanfikcí, je potřeba je vyhnat ven :)
Tohle bude zaměřené na Spocka a Christinu, Spapel je pro mne už čtvrt století pár ze všech nej :) a fakt jsme ráda, že je v SNW :D
Každopádně nebude to hned, je to spíš plán do budoucna... mám ráda Sareka, teda původního z TOS, tomu z Disco a SNW nemuzu prijit na chut.
Začnu tu událostmi před "Časem Amoku" a uvidíme kam mne příběh zavede. Budu vděčná za pochvaly i kritiku. -
