Summary
The thing about Midoriya Izuku is that, despite his shy and nervous demeanor, there is very little he wouldn't do for the people he cares about.
It's become a staple of his, to rush in recklessly for a friend or to trade himself for someone else in the name of saving them. He's reckless and impulsive to a fault, completely willing to break rules and break himself if it meant even the smallest sliver of payout.
He's selfless. Much too willing to sacrifice himself. Everyone knows it, and they show it in the way they start to take after him, eyes shining with determination, bodies suddenly moving without thought or preamble.
It only makes sense Midoriya would be the same in more mundane situations, as well.
It only makes sense others would pick up on the habit.

Or, Midoriya cares dearly and deeply for his friends. This, combined with being cooped up in the dorms for a week straight, means he's willing to break his own walls down and be himself for once.
Oh, and he also has crazy good acting skills for a reason no one manages to question.

As he ducked behind a trash bin another voice inside his head supplied that he was nothing that belonged anywhere but a junkyard. The hyperventilation and confusion on how to fold his limbs now that they were made of wet flesh prevented him from telling the voice to shut up.
