Summary
Five years ago Thor failed everyone by not going for the head. He failed to avenge his brother, half the universe was gone. He failed. He then fell into a depression haunted by the memories of his failures. After five years of wallowing in his sadness, Bruce tells Thor there's a chance they can bring everyone back. Thor is not going to pass up the opportunity to save everyone lost during the Blip. Including his brother.

“Well I was planning to finish my ultra home pizza oven, but I think I can put off finishing Mikey’s present later, and spend some quality romance time with you.” Donnie gave a small smile and placed his hand upon hers.
“I’ll just pull up the movie on my superior tv setup, and you can just get comf-” “DONNIE ITS FAMILY MOVIE TIME, GET IN HERE!” Mikey yelled so loud, Donnie swore people in Philadelphia would be able to hear his younger brother.
Donnie gave out a long sigh. “Well there goes serenity.”
All April and Donnie wanted to do was watch a Christmas movie on their own.

Summary
“You should not still be here. You should possess the soul stone by now. The only reason why you would not- would be that you did not love him…” the hooded figure paused, before finally saying, “Or he has not died yet.”
At those words, Thor felt both horror and relief consume him. Relief that the fall hadn’t killed him, and horror that the fall hadn’t killed him.

Instead of Natasha and Clint, Thor and Loki volunteer to retrieve the soul stone, completely unaware of the fate that would await them. And while the fall may kill a human being right away, the same does not apply for gods.
Thor spends Loki's horrifying last moments holding him.

Summary

“I could have taken them.” Thor was angrily slashing foliage out of their path, wielding his hunting knife like a machete.
“Yes, you could have. And they would have murdered me in the meantime.” Loki was surprised how calm his voice sounded. He felt lightheaded and shaky. He was sure that he should be hurting—he had hit the ground hard when the bomb went off—but he felt packed in soft cotton.
“And what did you do for them to want to kill you?”
“Nothing!” Loki said vehemently. “I’ve done nothing at all!”
“You always do something. Everything is a prank with you.”

Summary
Loki rammed into the wall of a room he didn’t recognize, heaving for a sliver of air. He blinked furiously as he attempted to process the blurry scene before him.
The Avengers stared back at him, open mouthed like a sea of fish. You could’ve heard a pin drop with how suffocating the silence was. Whatever conversation they were in had come to an immediate stop at the sight of him.
“…I’ll take it I should be dead?"
or Loki time slips and encounters the avengers (which unfortunately means he encounters a certain someone he's been trying very hard not to think about)
