Summary
Castiel and Dean Winchester lead a normal life. Castiel is a title partner at a prestigious law firm, the same one where Dean's little brother Sammy works as a lower level partner, and Dean works at Singer construction company as a foreman. They have two kids, Claire from Castiel's previous marriage, and their precious boy Jack. All in all, everything is pretty much perfect.
Except for the fact Dean hasn't been sleeping well recently, and he keeps smelling this awful rotten egg stench in the house that he can't find the source of for the life of him. He's almost considering getting freaking holy water at this point, with all the strange things going on. Demons aren't real, he keeps reminding himself, demons and angels and monsters, it's all bullshit. Fairytales. Fake.

Jack saves Castiel from the Empty. But after a tearful reunion and a crushing hug from Dean, the angel is left confused when everything seems to return to a "normal" that no longer fits. The confession is yet to be addressed, Dean is avoidant, and Sam is pretending he can't see the shift in the room—he’s just relieved his older brother isn't drinking himself to death anymore.

Dean eyed him, questioningly.
“I know that’s not true,” Cas told him.
Or
Cas comes back from the Empty, sucks Dean’s dick in the kitchen of the bunker, and Dean has no idea what to do with any of that.

Ivo hates winter.
The festive clamor is too much on his senses. Winter should be peaceful and quiet, yet he's constantly bombarded with tinsel and shimmering baubles and trinkets, and so much green and red and white he could choke on it.
At least his labs are safe from such trifling things.
That is, he thought so, until he catches Stone stringing fir garlands around his desk and rummaging through a small box of decorations set lightly upon its surface.
"Stone," he hisses, "just what do you think you're doing, bringing that kind of insipient frippery into my labs?"
