He hesitated. It had been ten years but the habit of keeping quiet hadn’t faded. But-
He took a deep breath. “The scene is-” he stopped, voice cracking a bit. Cleared his throat and tried again, leveling his voice out into the neutral tone he used when describing a particularly gruesome set of facts. “The crime scene is the same as mine would have been.” Kogoro’s face twisted, eyebrows winging up into his hairline. Shinichi kept going. “If the poison had killed me. Same clothes, same pose, same head wound,” he tapped the barely perceptible scar on his forehead where the pipe had made contact all those years ago “same everything. It’s identical.”

When Hollow followed her out, she realized that wasn't so. But now she has to try and take care of her older sibling as they recuperate and learn to live in a world where they do not have to be pure, figure out what to do about what Little Ghost left of a body, and try to piece together two kingdoms which fell long ago.
Life keeps throwing her surprises, too, which does not help.

Saiki Kusou has never had a crush on another guy, so when his whole class starts getting embroiled in a collective sexuality crisis, he has absolutely no stake in the whole thing. Still, it would probably be far easier for him if coming out went smoothly for everyone and Teruhashi came to terms with her status as a lesbian, so he decides to help out. You know, like a good ally.
Saiki Kusuo isn't LGBTQ. Not experiencing sexual attraction is totally normal. Transforming between biological sexes soon after birth doesn't count. And his interest in Satou Hiroshi is purely one of curiosity.
That has to be true. Because for Saiki Kusou, coming out sure seems like a pain.

Partial retelling, mostly canon compliant, but with slight differences surrounding the recovery episodes of season 3. Leo's injuries are more severe and realistic and characters are a little more flushed out—I hope to add a little more detail to the trauma that the main cast went through post losing New York, Splinter, and caring for injured Leo. I do not intend to just rewrite entire episodes, but scenes important to the content of the fanfic will be transcribed (and possibly altered).
