He can see the tears in her eyes. She’s stubbornly refusing to let them fall, because she’s one of the strongest women he’s ever known, but he sees them and he hates what they represent.

The 118 can see how Bobby's death affected Buck, but did they know why it affected him so much? No. So when they had gotten into an argument, Buck had let it slip on why he was spiraling. But it was Buck who was in the lab when he passed. he told them everything that happened while in the lab.
“ Well, you need to talk to someone,” Eddie yells.
This conversation is starting to get tense“ Maybe I don't want to.” Bucks yells back
“ Why Not? ” Eddie is still yelling.
“ Because I don't want to relive that memory,” Buck again yells
“ Yeah, so let's just add that to Evan Buckley’s trauma book. It’s called Evan Buckley. The Trials and Tribulations, A Tragedy. In 97 Acts.” Eddie again still yelling at Buck.
“ Yeah, so let's just add a 98th special called. Watching Captain Bobby Nash Die right in front of you, knowing you can’t do a fucking thing.” Buck yells with tears rolling down his face.
They all just looked at him like he had two heads. None of them knew what to say.“ Yeah, I watched Bobby Die in the lab that night. I didn't want to tell anyone because I didn't want to bother anyone with my issues. That's why I never told anyone.” Buck says now in a softer tone.
