The Commander’s face went slack then tightened into a bone-wrenching snarl. “You really want to do this here, Rex?” He asked, waving his hands in gesture to all the clones standing in the hangar- frozen at their COs arguing. “You really want to do this with both our battalions present?”

After Cody plays a stupid move during a mission, Rex finally gets fed up of his self-sacrificing acts and decides to confront him.
But maybe arguing and pouring out some of his deepest worries in the middle of the hangar wasn’t the best idea.

Four hours. Not so long, all things considered.
Four hours during which his highly-trained, highly-competent body was up and wandering around Coruscant, doing kark even knew what, utterly outside of his conscious control.
Fox forced himself to keep breathing slowly and evenly, clamping down on the sick horror that was creeping down his spine. He really ought to be used to this by now. It certainly happened to him enough.

Kamino was not safe, warm, or comfortable. The Guard Barracks, though safe, were not warm, and the only comfort they had was each other. But here -
In the Temple, he was always warm, and he was always safe, and he was almost always comfortable. His bed was soft. It was comfortable. And, as he moved into the spot Thorn had just vacated, it was warm.
“Go back to sleep,” Thorn’s soft voice whispered, and Fox did what he did best; he obeyed.
