Eddie knows Karen means it as a joke, but the combination of the wine in his system and the joy in his gut make it feel serious, "Yes."
"Wait, really?" Hen asks.
"If she wants to dance, I'll teach her to dance. We had fun today," Eddie finishes his glass and notices he's probably at the point where he's drunk enough to talk about the Buck thing.
"You don't have to do that Eddie. I'm sure we could pay for lessons somewhere," Karen offers.
"Or we could pay you," Hen offers.
"I have an idea for that actually," alright, Eddie, be brave, "I give Mara dance lessons and you both give me gay lessons."

When Mara becomes obsessed with ballroom dance Eddie becomes her teacher. Along the way he realizes he's in love with Buck, starts receiving "gay lessons" from Hen and Karen, and forms a ragtag dance academy. What could possibly go wrong?

Eddie hasn't been asked back to host the live streams since he said fuck a record number of times during the first one he hosted. Said record is not an exaggeration, Athena had even had a little certificate printed for him. It also matched the other piece of paper that had been printed, which stated "Banned from live stream hosting: Eddie." Banned from hosting or not, Eddie is still a frequent guest on the live streams this season. Mainly because Ravi and May want to ruin his life.
Or: When EMT Buck joins the Dancing with the Stars crew Eddie is smitten and May is determined to meddle.

"I can't believe you went for boba without me and you liked it." Buck fakes a faint and falls back into Eddie's shoulder playfully. Eddie smacks at him and grabs him by the waist to hoist him fully upright. May watches the way his hands linger for a moment, and then as if sensing her eyes, he pulls back and slaps them against his waist.
"Are you alright?" Buck looks at Eddie with concern.
May watches Eddie's face panic, and being the wonderful human she is, she falls on the sword instead, "I'm having a gay crisis."

Another tear crested his waterline on the other side and he sniffled and swiped at it furiously with one hand. “That—that nothing will change. I tell you something life-changing and you assure me nothing will change,” Buck said, looking devastated. “I want things to change, Eddie. I want you to want things to change. I want you to want things, period.”

The door swings open, as a man’s voice snaps “What?”
“It’s great that you and your girlfriend have such a good sex life,” Eddie starts, “Good for you, but are you aware that you have neighbors? I honestly don’t care what you do, but your room is right up against my kid’s, and I do not want him hearing the two of you going on all night like that, okay?”
“Oh god,” comes a low, appropriately horrified voice, and Eddie actually bothers to look up and make proper eye contact.
He’s tall, the neighbor, a bit taller than Eddie, and broad. His light brown hair is in dishevelled curls, he’s blinking blue eyes a little blearily, and he looks mortified, flushed a light pink all over.

Adriana doesn’t tell their parents that she’s going to LA. She doesn’t tell Eddie, either—or ask, for that matter.
She does ask Chris, and he thinks it’s a good idea—says as much, on the phone, and doesn’t say much else.
“Buck will probably be hovering,” is what Chris does volunteer.
It still surprises her when the man who opens the door is not Eddie. It’s—Captain America, is the thing that actually comes to mind—a man close to a foot taller than she is, if not more than that, with blond curls and broad shoulders, and he’s got a question in his very blue eyes that’s probably less friendly than the one he actually asks her.
“Uh,” he says. “Can I help you?”

Buck’s voice made Eddie spin around with wide eyes, clamping his mouth shut. He probably looked like a deer caught in headlights.
Buck raised a questioning eyebrow at him, and Eddie opened his mouth to say something, except he didn’t know what, because he couldn’t exactly tell Buck that the reason for their celebration was the death of his ex-boyfriend.
And, listen. Eddie has no clue why his following response was the one to tumble out of his mouth. Maybe because he was thinking about Tommy, his brain was making the connection to ‘gay.’ He really has no other explanation.
“My coming out.”

Summary
It started out as a joke, a simple joke. It was supposed to be some light teasing on Hen and Chim’s part to get Buck to sign up. That’s what Eddie wished it had stayed as. But, no, of course, Buck took them seriously and sent in an application anyway. And of course, ABC would take the opportunity to cast the firefighter that saved one of their latest Bachelor Contestants after she tried to glue herself to the Bachelor Mansion driveway (yeah, that didn’t exactly work out as planned for her). It’s great publicity, and a perfect story to get the public invested.
So, here Eddie is on Monday night in the station’s loft, surrounded by his nosy and traitorous co-workers watching the opening night of Season 21 of The Bachelorette, where Buck graciously exits a limo and walks to greet Emma, ABCs latest network star.
And Eddie? Eddie is absolutely miserable.

After a call at Bachelor Mansion, the 118 Team teases a single Buck about applying for the next season of The Bachelorette. He does and gets cast for Season 21, and now Eddie is living his worst nightmare watching Buck fall madly in love on live television.
