“Let’s get married,” Tim says softly.
Over Cassie and Bart’s yelling and Cassie’s metal playlist that she insists is only good when played loudly, Kon can’t believe his own superhuman hearing. He freezes mid-drink of the Coke can halfway to his mouth with the fridge door still open.
Tim’s dressed in the Nightwing PJs that Dick got him for his birthday, and his hair is still damp from his shower with a towel slung over his shoulders. There’s nothing specifically out of the ordinary for him except the way he plays with his hands by his waist and his eyes are glued to the floor.
He rambles on without waiting for Kon to respond. “I’ve thought it through; it would probably be the best foot forward. Of course, we’re gonna need to do a large ceremony and—“
“Bro, I can’t believe you are proposing without a ring.”

Tim and Kon are getting married for the publicity, and they might both be in over their heads.

Summary
Kon decides enough is enough. He needs to do something about his stupid feelings for Tim. He’s seen other people do it before, being flashy and glamorous, but his time around Tim had taught him he wouldn’t like or appreciate that. So he’d take it slow, to not rush Tim.
Only problem is Batman keeps undoing all his good work.

He was currently tied up, handcuffed to a pole in the middle of a basement. He examined himself quickly, noting the sharp pain in his ankle. “Where am I..” he said to himself, dazed, desperately wanting to rub the back of his head to subdue the harsh pounding in his ears.
